Sydney Weekend

11/2/2011-14/2/2011
Friday morning we left at about 9:30am and got to Sydney at about 9:30pm.
I'm gonna say i fucking hate the Hume Highway. Luckily we all had each other
to laugh and keep our minds active on our journey.
These four days were easily four of the best days I have had in a while.
We were all pretty fucking poor, Pepper and myself in particular, but we survived
and I would'nt trade it for anything.

When we first got to Sydney, we stopped at Bald Face Stagg to catch Word Up! but
unfortunately I didnt get to see them, but I will still try to before they call it a day.

We stayed with Pat Cahill at his house on the beach in Bondi, but unfortunately I didnt get
to swim, cause the weather was shitty, but it was amazing to feel the salt air again and see
some actual waves.
Saturday Morning and every morning for me we had breakfast burritos next door to
Pats house, which fucking ruled, and went there on the Sunday night after the
show, the place was packed with alot of attractive ladies, some of which, Sam and Pat
should have made some moves on...

Saturday we showed Pepper a little bit more of the city and places he'd never been, I think he appreciated the place a bit more.

Ned Kelly's Last Stand

Belanglo State Forest

Sydney Harbour Bridge

We saw an Asian version of Frank Grimes

This show was crazy.

This show was pretty small, but its was still super fun.
Blackwire records is a sick venue.

Thick Skin & Step Down

Sydney Roosters

This was a great weekend, I cant wait to go away and play shows back home, and hopefully hit Adelaide in May, its loosely organised, but it will hopefully will come together.
We made great friends, hung out with some old friends, and Step Down and Thick Skin
are doing a split tape.

Shows 3 & 4

This show had a last minute venue change to the Fitzroy Bowls Club,
Fitzroy Bowls shows need to occur more often.

We got added to this last minute.

First & Second Show

First Show

Not tight.
 THE ARTHOUSE
I was pretty stoked to be playing there, I am from
a place 2000 kms north of Melbourne, and to play a well known venue
even to a small crowd, still felt good.
 Outside after the show.
Pepper bailed.
Shit happens.
Thanks Georgia.

FIRST POST

I decided to start documenting what this band is doing, it seems like a clich'e thing to do but in all honesty I couldnt give a fuck.
Above is our 2010 Takin' Care Of Business Demo for Download,
We will gradually post more links, photos, flyers, etc.
I know were not the only band doing a blog,
but 10 years from now I'd like to look back and say
they were good times.
